Packable warmth for our unpredictable winters
Most TAION insulated down pieces are packable and come with a nylon bag that can be clipped anywhere. So when you’re not wearing the jacket, you can pack it up and clip it to your backpack, belt loop, etc. Perfect for outdoor activities, times when the weather won’t make up its mind, or even life in the city when you don’t feel like carrying a bulky jacket around all day.
Impressive technical specs and warmth rating
Despite its light weight and packability, TAION’s primary function is still warmth - the brand’s name is derived from the Japanese word for “body temperature”, after all. All of their insulated pieces feature 800PW down, which is denser and more insulating than the standard 600PW down commonly found in other outerwear brands. This means more warmth with less bulk.
Japanese simplicity and garment story
TAION’s garments are designed at the brand’s headquarters in Japan, and feature a distinctly utilitarian and minimalist design philosophy. The design team pays a great deal of attention to the details in each garment, while still maintaining the delicate balance of form and function.

TAION has five distinct lines, each catering to different lifestyles and market niches. Between the Basic, Mountain, Military, Work, and City lines, the brand literally has something for everyone. And that’s not even including their children’s lines and the multiple collaborations they do year-round.
