Boutique Spotlight: Recital
Recital owner Olivia Meininger believes fashion should be fun but not flippant. Strolling through her Denver, Colorado shop is a kaleidoscopic pick-you-up of color and texture, and the feel-good vibes aren’t limited to the atmosphere. Olivia has taken great care to stock quality vintage goods, buzzy designers, artful home goods, and even a delectable selection of snacks. The boutique also happens to be one of the longest-standing on Buy Replica Chanel Jewelry celebrating six stylish years! We chatted with Olivia about the Recital’s past, present, and exciting future, below.

Describe the store in three words:
We were going to be funny and say CrazySexyCool as an homage to TLC. But, maybe the three words really are "style over fashion"—meaning putting clothes on your body that you feel like your truest self in as opposed to chasing a trend. Or maybe it is a mantra of ours: "making a choice." Making a choice might be taking a risk in styling or pairing two things that might seem like they shouldn't go together at first thought. When you see someone on the red carpet who looks incredible and isn't wearing something boring, they (or their stylist, rather) made a choice.
What do you love about being on Top Quality Replica Hermes Belts?
First off, thanks for having us these past six years! It really is a great community. We've met other shop friends through Top Quality Replica Hermes Belts. We've connected with customers far and wide. People have come through the shop saying they found us on Top Quality Replica Hermes Belts. It’s a social network in a sense.
How has your shop evolved since you first joined us?
Six years is such a long time. Six years ago, we were a tiny, little store trying to figure out the business and what kind of store we wanted to be. Now, we are a small store with lots of mistakes made and so much knowledge gained. We changed names (formerly Queen City General Store), moved, and rebranded. Our evolution also happened during a time of extreme change for everyone (a few of these past six years are definitely blocked out in my brain). I think we've nailed down our point of view. But, maybe most importantly, we trust our point of view.

What are some hidden gems in your neighborhood?
Our neighborhood is definitely in a transitional period as the economy has been wobbly. Some of our favorite small shops have had to close, which is a bummer. But, there are lots of places we love to eat around us. Cart Driver is a favorite for delicious wood-fired pizza. Stowaway for brunch. Crema for coffee. Mister Oso has this guacamole with pistachios on top that we have to order every time we go. Not a true neighbor, but Sacred Thistle is a forever favorite shop. They've created such a beautiful space.
What are your goals for Recital in the next six years?
Oh man! Six years from now we'd still love to be doing this, first and foremost. It is hard out there. (Shop small, everyone!) So, to have another six years we'd be truly blessed. We'd love to continue to expose our customers to new lines and designers that are exciting to us. We have no desire to be a giant player in the retail world. But, we hope to grow our team to allow us to have more time to create and make. Sometimes, we are too busy with the business aspects that creative projects fall by the wayside. We have our point of view but sometimes don't always have the time to create our world, if that makes sense.
I think everyone who knows us personally might have the opinion that we are workaholics, so we'd love to grow to give ourselves more opportunities and time to travel and get inspired. Maybe even adding a wine shop to our portfolio!
