Can I do vocal warmups?
[Ejae vocalizing]
Oh, let's not go there.
[upbeat music]
Hey Replica Hermes Bag Reviews, I'm Ejae and we're here in West Hollywood.
Today, we're doing our final fitting.
I'm wearing my amazing custom made Dior
by Jonathan Anderson.
Beautiful dress for the red carpet for the Oscars.
[hands clapping]
So excited.
[upbeat music]
It's like the last run, in a way. It is literally.
It's such an honor and like a dream I never dreamt of
or could have dreamt of.
Yeah, that's why it's just so nerve wracking
and we're performing.
We are nominated for two categories.
First one is best animated film and also best original song.
It was a lot of hard work and a lot of, you know,
bending ourselves backwards and forwards in every direction.
And to get nominated, it means so much to us. So honored.
Thank you so much, Oscars.
Got to do a good job hitting that born to be, so.
[laughs]
[gentle music]
if I'm going to talk about my look,
I have to bring out my creative directors.
Jeff. Theo.
My handsome creative directors. Hey.
This is Theo.
Hi, I'm Theo.
This is Jeff. Hi.
This dress. Wow.
Like I honestly, you know,
since the beginning of this whole award season
and campaign since last year, like what, June, July,
I've been thinking about the Oscars red carpet dress
and it was really cool
because Jonathan Anderson was, you know,
going to custom make this dress.
I remember telling him what was really important.
I was saving a golden look for the Oscars very specifically.
So you know, we went back and forth
and you know, there were a bunch of looks
and we finally got a beautiful, beautiful dress.
I'm so excited to wear it. Jonathan killed it.
Yeah. And so here's the reveal.
It's going to be going to be golden.
So beautiful. Wait, let it sparkle.
Can you see the sparkle?
It's going to be so beautiful.
With Ejae, it was a whole new beginning, you know?
She's never been in this spotlight,
so there was a lot of things that we needed
to help her in her journey
of finding her brand and her look.
We met in Korea and we kind of felt inspired by the story
and we wanted to be part of it.
And I think it also gave us a freedom of expression
of working with such a talented person.
Aw, me?
[both laughing]
It's just been incredible journey
because I've been learning so much from these two
and like when it comes to style and the story of outfits,
there's a story to it.
I never thought of it that way.
And like also with Theo, he's helped so much with movement,
which I never had to do in the beginning.
I would be with all my dress and I would literally,
this is how I used to pose.
But now he was like, relax your hands.
Like put your shoulders back
and then you relax your eyes.
Now we're going to actually get into this dress.
[Ejae shouts]
[everyone laughs]
Ta-da!
The moment I first saw it was obviously sketch form.
I thought the sketch was just so beautiful.
The first fitting was in Paris.
The moment I saw it, I was like, Okay.
It came out of the sketchbook,
but looked even better in person.
In Paris was like kind of the silhouette of the dress
and it was just already stunning.
And I was like, Okay, we're done.
Then they were putting like the flowers
where we should put it, talking about the fringe,
what color should this be?
Pretty much like 95% done. It was, it is beautiful.
Jonathan took my breath away with this beautiful design.
Like the fit is incredible. I look so snatched.
[gentle music]
[Producer] How long have you guys known each other
and work together?
Since VMAs, was it September?
Mm-hmm. Yeah.
Yeah. It was fun.
The hotel room was so small, like no mirror.
And so dark.
So dark. Yeah.
I noticed that, you know,
communication is super key in glam.
I'm very like picky with makeup. Am I picky?
[both laughing]
Did you hear that?
That's kind of where it started, and once we talked,
VMAs was beautiful.
I felt confident and beautiful that day.
Yeah. That was a good look.
And the rest was history. Yeah.
This will not be our final glam for the actual day.
Like hair and makeup is going to be different,
but if we want to talk about what we're doing,
I would say it's inspired by old Hollywood.
We want to do like a classic,
but also very chic and modern look.
So I would say the inspiration is coming from there.
And we always do collaborate really like with Theo and-
Jeff.
You kind of talk about what's the vision and literally
that's why it's like looks are always impeccable.
So thank you, Theo and Jeff.
Is this how you do them?
Yeah, literally.
I've never done it on camera. Yay.
I feel beautiful. I feel golden.
I mean, I love the detail of this,
like how it like folds in the dress, the creasing of it.
So intentional, and I love the fringe detail.
That's so cool.
But yeah, I love it. It's so shiny.
I feel like the Oscar statue.
For her first Oscars,
we were able to work with Swarovski.
We wanted to do jewelry that felt very timeless.
So this is a 13.4 carat diamond necklace
that was made just for her.
And then the same set,
9.4 carat diamond for the earrings.
[gentle music]
This is crazy because when they were putting on the
nomination list of best song,
right when K-Pop Demon Hunters: Golden came out,
I can hear people in the screen or people there
screaming like, Ahh!
It was a beautiful moment. I'll never forget that.
This was just not even in my bucket list
because I didn't think it'd be possible
to have this kind of dream.
It's just kind of crazy because I feel like within the past,
what, seven months now, I've just changed as a person.
More confident. I learned so much.
I feel very proud of the team and like proud of myself.
When you feel, you know, beautiful,
you feel good, you know?
Thank you, Replica Hermes Bag Reviews, for having me
and letting me show off this beautiful dress,
and I'll see you at the Oscars.
Wish me luck, please.
[gentle music]
[Producer] That's a wrap.
That's a wrap.
