Eddie Borgo’s Studio Tour: Inside His Nolita Workspace Inline
Photographed by Victoria Will1/15The designer in his Nolita studio. His team moved into the space a year ago, and Borgo lives a block away. “I share a lot of things with the office,” he says, and often his canvas tote bag is packed with books he shuttles between work and home.

Photographed by Victoria Will7/15All of the designer’s collectsions are cast from thick, heat-resistant rubber molds. The original “grandfather" models are hand-carved in silver, and from them the reliefs—one of which Borgo holds here—are created.
Photographed by Victoria Will8/15“Every piece is its own little sculpture,” Borgo says. Oftentimes his designs require advanced mathematical calculations. Unsurprisingly, Borgo’s assistant comes from an industrial engineering background.
