Hailey Bieber is back on her spring time show rotation. Having carefully cultivated a covetable collectsion of barely there heels, vintage mules, and cloud-like platforms designed by husband Justin, Bieber is back in her preferred seasonal shoe: the thong sandal.
The Biebers headed out to enjoy the Fanatics Flag Football Classic at the BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, where Hailey first of all paired her heeled flip-flop with some straight-leg denim jeans, a black tank top, and sheer embroidered lace cardigan.
Later that evening, she stepped things up with a more party-ready look, keeping the sandals but changing into a black silk shirt and mini skirt, and accessorizing with a black vintage Gucci clutch bag (sourced by The Vintage Marché), oval sunglasses, and tiny gold hoop earrings. This is the truest Hailey Bieber outfit formula in action: quietly luxurious pieces with killer vintage, a delicate shoe, something Tom Ford has touched.
Bieber isn’t alone in loving the thong sandal, though; best friend Kendall Jenner also has a penchant for the toe-post. Both have taken to styling the sandal with spring-appropriate looks, like a trench coat and capri combo, or jeans and a Brandy Melville basic.
Jenner has typically championed ultra-thin thong sandals from The Row, pairing the shoe with everything from a summery red mini dress to a date night bustier, preppy button-ups, and jeans and a tee. Expect, as the weather lifts, to see even more of The Row’s in-demand Dune model once more.
