Tribute to Harry Styles

My fan-girl-level love of Harry Styles is well documented. Like me, he’s an Aquarius, Gucci-obsessed, and generally shows up overdressed to any occasion. I dance to Adore You in the shower like it was written just for me. And ever since he dated Olivia Wilde, I’m also aware that he’s into “older” women so I feel like I might have a chance.

Harry is also a seemingly super nice guy. There was that time when model Ephrata dubbed him a “consent king” after he asked permission to touch her hair on the set of the Watermelon Sugar video shoot. He once fed a fan’s fish after his car broke down outside of her house and he hung out with her dad while waiting for a tow. He gives out dating advice in the middle of a performance. And, perhaps most tellingly, he is a champion for gender equality and the LGBTQ+ community and for generally promoting the notion that you should TPWK (treat people with kindness).

Fashion-wise, there’s no one as cool as Harry Styles right now. His sartorial sense is helping to normalize gender-fluid fashion, especially in the case of his November 2020 Vogue cover where he donned a glamorous ball gown. He’s making the art of getting dressed fun and boundless, helping to usher in an era where we can all wear whatever we feel with confidence and joy.
