Made in the USA of domestic cotton, the now California-based label originally started off designing sportswear for teams, colleges, and universities, as well as producing apparel for the United States Marine Corps. While the brand remains true to its heritage, the fits of its thermals, sweatshirts, sweats and watch caps have been updated, and its tubular knit, two-pack, crew neck t-shirts have become perennial favorites.

I'm looking at the Velva Sheen Heavy Thermal Sweater in XL. I see the fit is listed as true to size, but I wanted to confirm that is in fact the case? In the past Velva Sheen tees that I've purchased felt like they ran small, however I've never tried one of their sweatshirts.

This thermal sweater does more or less run true to size. I'm almost always between a Medium and a Large and I found that I preferred the fit of the Medium for this sweater, though some customers prefer to size up for a looser fit. I'd also say the sleeves are a bit short so if you're taller this item might not be a great fit for you.

Hi there, these sweaters are produced in small batches in Japan and cannot be restocked. Earliest we could bring these back is Fall 2021

I grabbed a Large and took these measurements:
Chest (Pit to pit): 21.75"
Shoulders: 20"
Back 26.5"
In general this style is going to be bigger than Sweaters/Hoodies from Velva Sheen's main line.

Yes. I believe only some of their tees are tubular knit...the sweatshirts and hoodies would all have seams.
