They don't have any size 42's left so that's why I'm considering buying it from you. The only problem is if these are also faulty I don't know if you will do the same. Hi, I was wondering about the fit of these boots. Your page says they fit true to size, but knowing that most leather boots can be off, I wanted to make sure. I wear US men's size 9 (EUR42) in tennis shoes like Adidas or Nike. But I wear US size 8 (EUR41) in my Red Wing leather boots. Would you recommend me getting these in a size42, or should I go up or down to 41/43? Thanks

Thank you for reaching out. As opposed to other hiking-style boots that leave room for a thick hiking socks, these are true to everyday shoe size. If you are a 42, you are likely to be a 42 with these, if wearing the average sock. If you'd like room for a thicker winter or hiking sock, a size 43 should be accommodating of that.

So at Shoe the Bear they use European Sizing, below is a general size guide of these.
European 41 = US 8 / UK 7
European 42 = US 9 / UK 8
European 43 = US 10 / UK 9
European 44 = US 11 / UK 10
European 45 = US 12 / UK 11

Hi! You would wear a size 42 if you're a 9/9.5. We do have a size 41 in the Black, which I think will be a tad too small. We have a size 42 in this shoe in White, if you are interested.

curious as to whether this 41 fits more like a 10 or and 11. a 41 can certainly vary, and these are final sale so.

We find this show fits true to size if not on the slightly larger side. I am a true 9.5 US/40 EU and they are much too big for me. I would convert to a 10.5/11. We'd be happy to measure the foot bed for you as well, let us know if that would help?
For sizing is 42(12) a size 12 in US? And how is does it fit? Since we can't return them
