Generally, for non stretch pants, I tell people (especially those who want their pants to fit comfortably) that they would want a minimum of .5” - 1.5” difference between their waist measurement and the measurement of the pant at the waist. This way they can feel comfortable at ALL times (including sitting down, leaning over, stretching, if they ever get bloated, etc) The only caveat being that sometimes peoples natural waist (smallest part of the waist - above the hip bones, above the belly button) and the waist of the pant don’t necessarily line up! My suggestion would be to measure the rise (measurement of crotch to waist of pant, which is 12.5” on the M) and check where that measurement lines up on you and then measure that line as your “waist” just to be sure! With the measurement you provided today, I would say you could go for either the Medium or Large, depending on how relaxed you want the waist to be. But I hear you on the hourglass situation, it’s possible the large might be too big in the hips for you given that the style goes a bit wider in the hip to begin with! Hope this helps!

Hi! This jacket is definitely water resistant! We wouldn’t claim it to be totally waterproof as we haven’t bonded the seams, but it will definitely hold up well in the average persons commute around Vancouver =)

Hi! Sorry for the confusion ! The ones that you have linked are from our original run of Pleat Trousers and are made with a Japanese Enzyme Washed Canvas - they are the SLIGHTEST bit softer and will lighten a little bit more than the others would over time :)

Hi! It is slightly sheer!! If you were to wear black underwear and have the sun be shining right on you it’s possible it could show a bit! I wore mine with skin coloured underwear and i didn’t have a problem! You could also wear a slip - whatever suits your fancy :) We didn’t have to do anything extra while the model was wearing it for these photos - if that helps at all :)

Hi there! This dress has an oversized fit and no pockets. The chest for S/M is 25" and M/L is 26" with garment laid flat, so that's 50" and 52" all around respectively. We recommend measuring yourself across the chest/bust around your torso to find the best fit. The cut is straight, so the midsection measures around the same as chest. Let us know if you need more info!

Hi there, we would recommend the S/M as it is an oversized style. As it is filled with 100% polyester, we would say it contributes to keeping warm in the more colder days but would recommend layering underneath too x

Hello! The dress is slightly longer in the back than in the front, so it's about 43" shoulder to front hem and about 46" from the shoulder to the back hem. Both sizes are measuring about the same length, you'll just get more room through the body in the M/L.
