I love this coat and want to put it at the top of my christmas list (feeling very spoiled). I have two quick questions that I'm hoping you can help with. First -- how warm would you say it is? Hard to gauge, I know, but any sense of how heavy the material is would be helpful. Second, I find Pendleton sizing a bit challenging as their clothes are often a bit more generous than others. I tend to wear a 6/medium/28 or 29 in bottoms pretty consistently. Could you please help by recommending the small or the medium?

Hi Kareena. The coat is unlined, but it is a tightly woven wool fabric. Perhaps not the warmest coat, but on the other hand one that you will be more likely to wear year round. Regarding sizing, we are finding that most customers are sizing down. But depending on if you’d like to wear over other thicker layers or not, you may wish to order your regular size for a more relaxed look. Hope this helps!
