It's hard to say what's the correct size here, being Japan sizing and all. What is typically a 2 vs 3? Is 2 a small and 3 a medium?

For Meanswhile, 2 is a Medium and 3 is a Large. This cardigan has an oversized design with a cocoon sleeve, so it has a relaxed fit if you go with your normal size. If you select the size that has your usual sleeve length, that should be your size!

Hi, I have two questions concerning this jacket and be grateful if you could help me out with that: 1.) what are the measurements (especially shoulders and pit to pit) for size M? 2.) do I see it correctly that it has some washed-out look to it with some of collars grey (greenish?) color „spilling over“ to the front of the jacket?

2. Yes you are correct. The main colour is brown and is it meant to reflect the worn and "rusted" look, in certain lights there is a grey-greeenish tone. It applies to the entire garment.
