Hi,
The Walther Retrograde's crown has two points of stoppage on its pullout. To set the numbered date dial, pull the crown out one click and turn the crown backwards until you reach the correct numbered date. To set the day of the week dial, pull the crown to the second "out" position (the furthest out) and wind the hour and minute hands forward or backward until the day of the week changes to the correct day. This will take one or two full hour-hand rotations as the day of the week dial is aligned with the hours and minutes dial based on a 24-hour schedule. Please let us know if you need any further help.
