The measurement from the front crew neckline to the bottom length is 20 inches, while from the back of the neckline to the bottom length is 22 inches. The width measured from the bottom of the underarm is 19 inches, and the chest width is 14 inches. I hope this helps!

Hi Karen, thanks for reaching out to us about the Maelie Cardigan in size L. I was advised that the chest width measurement for the garment when lain flat is 20". Maelie is meant to be a fitted cardigan, but its totally up to you how you prefer to wear it. We recommend measuring a sweater/cardigan that you already own to see how it compares. Hope this helps!

PTP is 21.5in and the length shoulder seam to front hem is 19.5. It is quite boxy so depending on how you'd prefer the fit to be the XS could work. Please let us know if we can help with anything else.
