The Correll Correll Star Knit Crew Neck in size Medium’s measurements are: 21 inches at the chest (42 inch full circumference), 24 inches in length, and 22 inches from the shoulder to sleeve hem (28 inches from neck to sleeve hem)!

The waist on a medium measures 30 inches. Do you want the skirt to sit on your waist? Personally I would go with the large. I like things that are not too tight, you can wear tights under it, a shirt tucked in, it will just give you a little more room and if absolutely necessary you can have the large taken in at the side seams which would be a very easy alteration. I hope I've helped!
