Hi, this item is quite true to size and seems like you could very well be in between a 32 and 34. Please see the following measurements for both sizes to help you make a better informed decision. Measurements are taken of the garment laying flat and are offered in inches.

Hi, thanks for your interest. The front rise measurement on the size Small & Medium is 11.5" & 11.75", which I feel is indeed a bit of a higher rise. The inseam is at 32" for both sizes. I hope this helps, please let us know if you have any other questions.
