I have a couple of questions about the chinos. There’s significant shrinkage when washed, correct? I’m a solid 32 waist, yet like the wide leg and length in the product image. In order to keep that look and a properly fitted waist, how do you recommend sizing up if one plans on washing them?
Do the pants break in similarly to denim, meaning that, will the waist expand approximately an inch after several wears?
I expect they get dirty fairly quickly given their color, so how do people usually clean them if not in the wash?

Hi Eric,
You can expect about 1” shrinking in the waist and 2” in the inseam. Depending on your inseam measurement, there will likely be additional length even after shrinking considering these measure 35” in length. If looking for an extra baggy fit you can go up 2 sizes but they will be roomy in the waist. Washing in cold water and line drying will reducing shrinking. Additionally, the twill fabric doesn’t stretch in the exact same way as denim.
If I’m a size 32 should I order size 33 due to shrinkage?

What is “oatmeal” color? Is it like a really light grey? Or is it more like an off white, with some warmer tones in it? Thanks!
