I understand, the fabric is different from Anntian's "simple dress" which is smooth and thin--like mulberry silk. Instead this dress fabric has more texture-- it's not plisse but it has that crinkle-like effect so that it does not have a shiny / smooth/ sheen. Here is a link to a similar Anntian dress I found online that may help give you more photos. I am away right now so I cannot re-photograph the dress.

Hello, I am interested in this dress, but just want to confirm the length. This dress seems shorter than most Anntian dresses. Just want to confirm the 40" from shoulder to hem. Thanks, it certainly is a beautiful piece!

Correct--this design runs slightly shorter than the typical Anntian simple dress design which is more column-like. This design is different it has more of a wrap like effect so that the fabric gathers slightly at the hip. I am 5 feet 7 inches and it hits right at my knee.

HI, I'm not sure which style it is or what the pleat on the side looks like. I've been trying to look it up. In the photos it looks like the simple dress with longer sleeves. Does it have the cinched belt in the dress that the simple dress has. Thank you in advance for any help.

Hi,
This is from the A/W 2019 collectsion and it's different from the more recent "simple dress" style which are longer/straighter and have a waist tie. Instead, this dress style is more rare. it has a pin tuck/pleat at the hip so the dress gathers at the hip. It also has a slight v neck shape rather than the simple dresses which are typically more crew neck shaped. Sorry the pictures are not great. As with most of Anntian's designs they do look better on than hanging!

Yes! I just double checked to make sure, and the measurements are accurate. :) There is a little pleat in the back that may give a couple more inches. You could also style this open as a little duster or over shirt with a teeshirt underneath and a pair of jeans.

What are the measurements of the waistband and inseam?

Hi there, laying flat the waist measures 15" unstretched and about 18” stretched. So it's about 30 unstretched and stretches to about 36! The waistband is pretty soft and malleable so even stretched these pants are still comfy. The inseam measures 23.5" but it's a bit of a dropped crotch so it won't sit right where your true inseam starts. Hope that helps :) let me know if you have any more questions!
