Hi Jane! I would say the medium would probably be the best fit. I'm 5'5" with a 29" waist and 36" hip and the medium fits comfortably with the waistband around my belly button. On me, it hits just above the ankle. The ribbed fabric is also quite stretchy with room for movement. Hope that helps!

hello. these have elastic waist & arms so they're flexible. the Small waist is 30" stretched out and has unstretched arm opening of 10" around. the Medium has a stretched waist of 32" and an unstretched arm opening of 12". hopefully that helps :) thanks! gini

Hi there! This is a pretty cosy pair of pants - nice and stretchy at the waist :) The measurements for the small are waist 14" flat - so 28" around and 19" flat (38" around) at the hips. Hope that helps!! xx...Karie

hi there :) the flat lay waist measurement of the M is 14" across so I'd say comfortably a 28 - the pant has elastic along the back so it does have a bit of flexibility! thanks! - karie

Hi. It has a matte finish, not like a silk satin. The cupro is a good weight, not insubstantial, with beautiful drape. Definitely matte vs shine. Hope that’s helpful :) xgini
