All measurements are taken with the dress laid flat and are on the half. Measurements are taken from side seam to side seam. Hi there! On the Samsoe Samsoe conversion chart it shows that a size 8 is a medium and a 10 is a large. Our recommendation would be to go with your usual size. from what we have seen it isn't meant to be very very fitted only a little fitted on the waist.
