Sarah Law had us at karaoke. Her cool line of handbags called KARA, launched in 2013, takes its name from the Japanese word for ‘empty orchestra’, or as we like to call it ‘best night ever’. “Everything is better with a sense of humor,” she says of her utilitarian leather accessories. Having been mentored by the likes of Steven Alan and Patrick Robinson, and now the CFDA, expect big things from this New York City-based emerging designer.
