Hi, I am interested in the West Perro Guatemala Golden Palm hat. I see the sizing here is listed differently from the West Perro website. I would like to order the size: 22 1/4- 22 5/8. On West Perro it says this size is 58, yet here it says the size is 57. Could you let me know which is correct?

The largest I have is a 48 with a circumference of 18.5"
So, my head measures exactly 23". I obviously don't want it falling off, but tight fitting hats are deal-breakers for me. Any advice?

The 59 is exactly 23" wide at the base of the band (it would sit just above the ear). We have been told they relax but I do not have the personal experience to back that up or know how long it takes to relax.
If this hat ends up being too big can I exchange for a smaller size?

Yes, totally! I would recommend going a size down. I personally like my sun hats to fit tight so I know the wind won't blow it off my head :) But yes, totally can exchange til we find the perfect size.
