I have recently purchased a 32x34 sugar cane co 1947 jean at a shop in person. wanting another pair. Is this a size "32"? I want the flat measured waist to be 41cm

The size 32 for this style measures about 39cm laying flat. However this model is once washed so the shrinking is accounted for.

I’m 6’2” 190lbs. From the numbers I see at Blue/Green, the 40 is what I should grab. Although the photos show a similar height model and the jacket looks really big on him.
I don’t think I’ve ever purchased a 38 in anything. I’m always a 40/42 or even 44 if the sizing is Japanese or smaller side.
I’d look to light layer and hoodie under. But I just wouldn’t want it to be swimming on me in only a t-shirt. If I’m between, I’d buy up and try and shrink it a touch to adjust if need be.

Hello, thank you for the information on your size and fit! I am 6' and 230lbs, and the 40 is a good length for me, but is tight in the shoulders. Given you are 40lbs lighter, but a bit taller, I think the 40 could work so long as you are not particularly broad in the shoulders or back—in which case the sleeves might be short. If you're a fairy broad shouldered man, I might suggest the 42! TY Grayson

The 1966 fits true to size so you could likely do the size 34, for the 1947 you should go up to the size 36 as it runs smaller in the waist.

These jeans fit one size smaller than tagged waist size so if your true waist is 31 we would recommend the 32.
