Hi there! These sandals are really comfortable. On the left sandal, the top strap wraps around the 4 toes, and the big toe isn't wrapped. The second strap then goes all across the top width of the foot and supports the big toe nicely. What size are you interested in? I can measure the length for you.

Hi, Yes, if you have a narrow foot the 40 should fit you. I am a true 9 and tried the 40 on and there was some space in the front and I have a wider foot. Let us know if you have any additional questions.

Hi, This is style is Final Sale. I can confim that Reike Nen sizing does vary, for this style it runs 1 entire size larger. If you are a 39, I would order a 38. I hope this helps.
