Would a Medium basically be around a size 38?

Yes, a medium would be most similar to a size 38, but this is a Canadian brand so similar to other western fitting brands it would be a big larger than japanese/european sizes.

Hello, the medium measures at about 21.5 inches, and we are sold out of both large and XL.
We have a XXL in stock and it measures about 24 inches pit-to-pit.

Hi, waist on the 32, 33 ans 34 are 16.5", 17" and 17.75", respectively. Inseam is 34".

Hi, the material is a finely knit merino wool (90%). So it's not chunky but still would be warmer than a cotton hoodie (as wool is a great insulator).
Can you confirm that the sizing chart is correct? I'm looking at another source https://www.blueowl.us/products/mockneck-zip-sweater-in-charcoal?variant=23738972241978 and they have different measurements.
Also, is this machine washable?

Hi, our size chart is directly from Outclass.
While you can machine wash it (at a low temperature, not exceeding 30°, if possible on a specialized wool/ hand wash cycle), it's not advisable. Its best to hand wash it with a mild soap like Woolite. Lay flat to dry.

The bomber fits pretty true to size. The measurements are as follows:
Large & XL Chest: 23" and 24.5"
Large & XL Shoulder: 18.75" and 19.25"
Large & XL Body Length: 26.5" and 27"
Sleeve Length is 27" for both Large and XL
