First Rite was launched in 2015 in San Francisco, CA by designer Nikki Garcia. Years of working in all aspects of the industry from retail to small label and corporate design merged into the idea of a better way: Creating garments that minimize our footprint on the planet, a more hands on approach involving personal relationships with partners, and an involvement in the process from textile or fiber to finished product. In 2022 Nikki and her family relocated to her hometown of Portland, OR, where the studio is now based.
All garments are designed using 100% natural textiles and fibers and produced in Fair Trade Certified facilities in Peru and India.

Hello! These pants have a nice stretch and elastic band waist. Lying flat unstretched they measure 13" at the waist. I can gently stretch the waist to 19". Inseam is 26". Hope this helps!

Hi there! Thanks for your patience. Yes, the natural pullover has a sheen to it. Nothing expressly, though. With most cotton sweaters, they would likely start to pill over time and the color become dull. This light sheen, would protect the color and that from happening over time. Hope this helps! I can get you exact measurements in the AM, but I am 5’6” and have a waist of 36.5 hips 45” and bust of 43” the XL fit me on the small side especially in the bust Where it pulled ever so slightly. With your measurements it should fit beautifully, exactly as intended 🤍
Update: flat but doubled: bust 44” waist 42” hips 46” This jumper definitely looks best with a slight loose fit, so should be great for you

The size large measures 20" across the bust flat and 18" measured flat across the hem which is 17.5" below the shoulder!

You will want the dress to have the right fit on top to avoid any gapping at the neckline, so I would go with the size that will fit your top but the hip measurement will depend on your height. Take a look at these measurements so you can compare them to your proportions. The dress has an a line fit and is a knit, but you don't want it to hug your hips too much to start. You are always welcome to order two sizes and return the one that doesn't fit!
Size small:
19" below the center neckline: 20.5" across flat
21" below the center neckline: 21.25" across flat
24" below the center neckline: 23" across flat
Size medium:
19" below the center neckline: 21" across flat
21" below the center neckline: 22.25" across flat
24" below the center neckline: 24" across flat

Hi! I’d like to order your cargo trouser but just wanted to double check the sizing! If my waist is almost 28 inches and my hips are about 38 inches, I should order a medium, yes? Not a small? (And would the same be true for the wide leg style, which doesn’t have stretch?)
