Dear Frances
Some of London’s most iconic designers are known for being bold and whimsical with a total disregard for conventions of any kind. British designer Jane Frances lives up to this reputation with her namesake footwear label, Dear Frances. Jane studied in London and Milan before taking up an internship at a family-owned footwear factory in Italy. Today the shoes in her own collectsion are made by hand using premium leather and materials in the exact same factory where she completed her internship. Traditional techniques used by artisan shoemakers are used to make each shoe, with unexpected touches like wooden heels layered with translucent plexiglass. We love this emerging label for giving timeless shoes and boots a fashion-forward feel.
