There doesn't seem to be a way to close it, as there are just two strips with holes in them and no way to connect them. Could you send me the details about how the piece should be worn/ closed? Hey! With the label at your back, take the left side of the skirt to your right hip and feed the strap through the first or second hole (depending on fit) into the buckle. Take the right side of the skirt to your left hip and feed the strap into the buckle on the left hip.

what is the waist size on the 8? and does this fabric make noise when you walk (and the thighs touch or brush against each other)?

Size 8 is unavailable. As the fabric is textured, if rubbed together it will cause a slight noise.
I bought this tunic and it is transparent in the sense that you can see any undergarment (light or dark) that you are wearing underneath. Your answer was not so transparent, considering another customer asked if she would have to wear a slip, ostensibly so that undergarments wouldn't show.

The tunic is not transparent and does not require a slip underneath but will be slightly sheer if worn with darker/detailed undergarments.
