3x1’s New York City atelier boasts the largest collectsion of selvedge denim in the world, with 800 different fabrics at the ready. The people who manipulate that fabric into covetable jeans are all on site, too, a team of 24 at work sewing both collectsion and bespoke styles (yes: made to order jeans!). Behind the operation is Scott Morrison, who previously founded both Earnest Sewn and Paper Denim & Cloth — suffice to say the guy knows how to grow a denim brand.
