Beda\u2019a has been stopping attendees in their tracks at watch fairs like Geneva Watch Days<\/a>, and in response to the warm reception of its Eclipse jumping-hour<\/a> watch in 2024, the Qatari brand returns with another compelling creation.<\/p>\n

Launched today, the Angles Guichets is a veritable head-turner, introducing a disc-based display to the brand\u2019s distinctive octagonal Angles collectsion.<\/p>\n

Where previous iterations of the Angles line were defined by their minimalist, time-only dials, the Angles Guichets ventures into more expressive territory. Hours and minutes are now presented on two concentric rotating discs, revealed through two apertures. Traversing the hours display is a polished ring\u2014evocative of the sun\u2014gliding gracefully from one end of the aperture to the other.<\/p>\n

This captivating display is powered by a modified Peseux\/ETA 7001 movement, offering a power reserve of approximately 42 hours.<\/p>\n

Founded by Qatari entrepreneur Hader Al Suwaidi, Beda\u2019a\u2019s artistic direction is helmed by Sohaib Maghnam, whose design sensibility is clearly evident here. The Angles Guichets features a refined three-stepped case that measures a slender 6.3mm in thickness and a restrained 37mm in diameter. Its integrated lugs sit pleasingly flush against the wrist, flowing seamlessly into an interchangeable strap secured by Beda\u2019a\u2019s signature B-shaped pin buckle.<\/p>\n
