Radiant Human Captures the Auras of New York Inline
Photo: Radiant Human1/15“I have had the pleasure of photographing this woman several times. She always photographs as a rainbow. She identifies as an empath and I can attribute this rainbow to her being ‘exposed’ energetically to her surroundings. She’s unable to have the filters or barriers that most of us have.”
Photo: Radiant Human2/15“These colors are all about having the courage and the strength to put your idea into an action. Which absolutely makes sense if you saw this guy. It's hard to see here, but he was wearing this amazing black turban with this incredible structured coat.”
Photo: Radiant Human3/15“This is a very vibrant green with some white, indicating lots of career opportunity and success! This tone of green is really rare, and it is showing me that a lot of hard work is paying off, and she is most likely feeling validated. The red in the lower left corner can be stress, or the will to survive. Red is representative of birth, so it's all about pushing through to make something happen, being action oriented and/or the need to be realistic and grounded.”
Photo: Radiant Human4/15“Look at all that green! Very interesting to see that most of the coloration is above the head, and not around the body, indicating being ‘in your head.’ I can also see that she is reserved and a bit discerning, she doesn't like wasting time and energy on just anyone. She chooses her friends and her environments carefully. With the dark purple in the corner she is conceptual but needs more time for herself, for this color to brighten.”
Photo: Radiant Human5/15“Oh this is such a sweet one!! With the purple graduating down to tan you can see that this man is very good at taking a concept (purple) and applying a detail to it (tan). With the blue in the lower right he is very considerate and sensitive.”

All of this orange is about expression, and adaptability. It can be really creative with how it handles different personalities and environments, and with this glimmer of yellow, she can have a good sense of humor too! With the purple in the lower left, this is a very conceptual person that enjoys exchanging ideas. The slight green/tan in the lower right corner shows us that she can communicate in a very direct, structured way; this color type enjoys crossing things off the list!”
Photo: Radiant Human7/15“This sweet little one is all about ACTION! Any physical outlet (red) that has to do with her imagination (purple) is extremely rewarding for her. With the lower arc, I can see that she might be shy sometimes, or a little tired from all the stimulation at the museum. The slight orange mixed with the red in the lower right corner helps break up some of the stubborn qualities that reds are typically known for. Orange means she can be good in a lot of environments and can be a good team player, but with this much red that’s only when she wants to be.”
Photo: Radiant Human8/15“This woman was so amazing! She was dressed in head-to-toe Comme des Garçons and had no idea who I was, or what I was doing. I just grabbed her out of a crowd because we had a cancelation and I was able to slip her through. With the lower right corner being void of color, I can tell she was a little unsure of me or what she was getting herself into. With the arc of tan/orange above her head, she is mentally processing two value systems: risk/adventure and control/security. All of this rich vibrant purple shows me that she is very conceptual and unconventional.”
Photo: Radiant Human9/15“Oh, this is one of my favorites to talk about. Red is such a strong color, and it’s so multifaceted! Some people get disappointed when they have red because they have a somewhat negative connotation with it. When it’s bright and clean like this, it represents all of the healthy aspects of this color. Red is the first color we identified linguistically; it’s blood, it’s the root chakra: I look at this color and I see the ability to put something into action, to face new changes, to relate to his experience through physical tangible things. He can also most likely be very stubborn or passionate. With that nice orb of orange I can see that this man, despite a lot of the fixed influence red has, can be very sociable, very good with people.”
Photo: Radiant Human10/15“A rainbow! Rainbows are gorgeous to look at, but it just means there's a lot going on, and similar to a supernova, the potential for burnout is near. Sometimes I get people who identify as empaths, and they rainbow constantly. At this state they don’t seem to be too overwhelmed, just extremely sensitive, like they are exposed and have no way of filtering through external stimulation.”
Photo: Radiant Human11/15“This color combination illustrates the balance between being fixed and flexible. Orange is all about being adaptable, dynamic, and the ability to be many things for many people. It’s independent, impulsive, and expressive. Tan, however, values control and security, and green wants to be productive. With the darker corner in the lower left I can see then she may be feeling fatigue, needing more self-care, which can be a classic result of being a young adult in New York City!”
Photo: Radiant Human12/15“I have photographed this woman before and I know from our interactions that she has an insane career that demands a lot from her— an extension of this career is having an active social life. So she has to juggle a lot, hence the rainbow. You can see through the bright hues that even though it might seem draining, she’s actually really good at it. The only area of fatigue I see is in the green area, where there is what I like to call ‘bruising.’ Greens can be so hard on themselves. They really push themselves to the limit and can be very competitive, often times measuring themselves to others’ successes. I get a lot of green in New York City!”
Photo: Radiant Human13/15“Oh, Gala Darling! This is the author of Radical Self Love. You can see with the vibrancy of the colors here that she is energetically strong. The purple is inspiration, and the orange is being expressive and confident. The blue and green above is the mental balance between emotion versus logic, giving versus taking, and home versus career. The only challenge for this color type can be staying on track: orange and purple can be very impulsive, and can get carried away easily. A natural state for any radical babe in Manhattan.”
Photo: Radiant Human14/15“This father-and-son combo combo I love!!! So great to see them have such similar color types; the apple certainly doesn’t fall far from the tree here. Such a wonderful mix of white and purple, with only the father having a slight mix of blue in the lower right-hand corner. Purple indicates having a vivid imagination; it’s the dreamer, the creative, someone who thrives on delighting others and sharing their ideas. White embodies every color. So these colorations have a lot of ideas . . . almost too many. This is a coloration that has a very hard time making decisions. The father’s blue swatch represents being very thoughtful and sensitive to his environment.”
Photo: Radiant Human15/15“This is a captivating coloration that is mentally balancing emotion (blue) and pragmatism (red). The purple corner tells me she is a dreamer at heart and the orange corner tells me that she is very good at working with a lot of different types of people and environments. I usually see orange in this location with people that are either entrepreneurs, or people that have to navigate lots of different personality types.”
