Love is in the air! Today is Valentine’s Day, which means couples will be proclaiming their love with chocolate, flowers, and all variety of grand, romantic gestures. In the land of celebrity, it will also be the first holiday that many new celebrity couples spend together. The pressure to have a fabulous first Valentine’s Day this year is on.
These new celebrity couples range from high-profile (the Internet lost their minds when Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde made it official) to discreet (as of now, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are still rumored to be a couple, but they have been photographed together recently). Whatever the case, however, one thing is already clear: they all have a distinctive couple style going on. Take Katie Holmes and Emilio Vitolo Jr., for instance, who have been spotted on numerous occasions out in New York City wearing complementary dressy outfits (they do New Yorker style like no one else).

Their imagined Valentine’s Day plans: A$AP Rocky flies to Rihanna’s native Barbados and the two enjoy a romantic, quiet weekend by the beach—away from the paparazzi, who have sparsely caught them together.

Signature couple style: Edgy and spunky. MGK leans into a rockstar vibe with loud-printed shirts, distressed jeans, or colorful suiting. Fox matches that energy with biker jackets or rocker tees. They’re Hollywood’s grungiest new couple.
Their imagined Valentine’s Day plans: We don’t predict anything traditional about their Valentine’s Day. Perhaps they watch a scary movie (Fox’s Jennifer’s Body? Underrated).

Began dating in: Sometime in early 2020, and they announced their engagement just before the Christmas holiday.
Signature couple style: This is possibly the most low-key couple on the list. We’ve never seen them in public together. They keep things private. But their Instagram posts together prove they have a shared love of cozy clothes—a Grande staple.
Their imagined Valentine’s Day plans: They will keep things low key, just like their relationship. Perhaps discussing wedding plans over a nice glass of Merlot—wedding bells are in their future, after all.
