If There’s One Thing We Learned in 2015, It’s That Even Models Need a Side Hustle Inline

Fox has always been a staple among the exhaustingly chic Saint Laurent posse, which is filled with tousled-tressed stunners who make their after-partying mark from London to Paris. To capture the chic chaos, Fox and her friend Aida Nizankovska decided to chronicle the clique's adventures off the runway on the website Film Hooligans. Film-filtered, the site gives an artful, inside view into the group’s cross-continental antics.
2/10Natasha Poly Flexes Her Pipes
Who would have thought? Russian supermodel Poly has a singing voice as sultry as her runway strut. This past year she debuted her love for belting out tunes in a Brigitte Bardot–type music video with Frame Denim.

“Bone collectsing jeweler” is not as creepy as it sounds—in fact, for model Cristina, it’s a rather cool hobby. The new face (who this year added Balmain and Marc Jacobs to her catwalking résumé) also creates and sells Victorian-style necklaces made out of small animal bones. Cristina may have just started a “creepy chic” trend.

Murphy does a lot of things aside from modeling, like pursuing a degree in radiology. But when she’s not working the runway or the X-ray, her biggest off-duty activity also happens to be her Zen: The hardworking all-American model is an avid horseback rider—sans a saddle!

By the looks of her cheeky, funny, and seriously clever Instagram, Campbell would be our best friend. But it looks like she's got her hands full: Earlier this year, she and her friend Christabel MacGreevy translated their brand of humor into a line of sew-on patches called Itchy Scratchy Patchy. Now, everyone can fake like they're a member of a catwalker squad like Bella Hadid and Stella Maxwell, and wear Campbell’s sense of humor on their chests.

Parker joined a long line of model artists this year when the Bard graduate put her B.A. in photography to use and published a moody apple-picking photo series featuring fellow model Alisa Ahmann on Replica Hermes Bag Reviews.com.

When she’s not walking for Versace or Alexander Wang, Hessen is most likely road-tripping on her motorcycle across South America or Africa. And when she’s not putting the pedal to the metal? She's studying to be an EMT.

The London-based model created the Instagram account @gurlstalk to open up the digital discussion regarding feminism and women supporting women. The curated feed features everything from profiling musicians like Brooke Candy to commenting on Jennifer Lawrence’s stance on the pay gap. You go, gurl.

When she wasn’t strutting for Balmain this season, Frackowiak revisited her love for architecture, translating it into a 26-piece fine jewelry collectsion that she unveiled during Paris Fashion Week. Even cooler, she learned all of the crafting techniques, including the centuries-old tradition of lost wax casting. Plus, she shows love to her native Poland: Everything is handmade in her motherland by local artisans.

This year, everyone who was on the catwalk was also with the band. The most notable of which included the New Age Partridge Family, The Atomics, which includes model-siblings Lucky Blue, Pyper America, and Daisy Clementine Smith, while Saint Laurent–staple Julia Cumming made a case for mosh-pitting and head-banging in her group, Sunflower Bean. Another Saint Laurent runway cameo came from a guitar hero, too: Staz Lindes of the band The Paranoyds, who also strut for the label.
