Known For: If we were to believe this summer’s blockbuster Trainwreck, the face of the NBA’s standout quality would be his frugality. But, somehow, we doubt that. Last year, the basketball star took home $65 million in salary and endorsements. James seems to be worth every penny, too: He’s won two NBA championships and earned two Olympic gold medals, and he’s been named the NBA’s Most Valuable Player four times.
Romantic Status: James and his high school sweetheart Savannah Brinson had two sons—LeBron James, Jr. and Bryce Maximus—together before they tied the knot in 2013. James reportedly asked Brinson to marry him during a New Year's Eve party (in front of all his teammates!). They welcomed a daughter, Zhuri, in 2014.

Known For: Carmelo Anthony is one of the most decorated and prolific scorers in the NBA. After he entered the NBA draft in 2003, Melo led the Denver Nuggets to the playoffs every year from 2004 to 2010, until he was traded to the New York Knicks in 2011. Last year, he set the single-game scoring record for Madison Square Garden and the Knicks with 62 points. He has also competed in the Olympics three times, winning a bronze medal in 2004 and gold medals at both the 2008 and the 2012 games.
Romantic Status: In 2004, Anthony got engaged to former Total Request Live VJ Alani Nicole “La La” Vázquez. Their engagement was documented through the multi-episode VH1 reality series La La’s Full Court Wedding. The series ended with the couple finally tying the knot at New York City’s Cipriani restaurant in 2010.

Romantic Status: Another high school sweetheart story! Paul married Jada Crawley in 2011. They have two children together, Chris Jr. and Camryn Alexis.

Known For: The beloved University of Kansas small forward and shooting guard was the first overall draft pick by the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2014. One month after signing, he was traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves. Last season, Wiggins earned the NBA Rookie of the Year award, becoming the first player in the team’s 26-year history to earn the honor.
Romantic Status: Wiggins has been reportedly dating model and singer Alex Reid since 2013. Reid shows her support for the game with many a KU-covered Instagram. Now that’s love.

Known For: While the longtime Miami Heat shooting guard’s NBA record may be nothing to sneeze at, what we’re truly impressed by is Wade’s devotion to the front row of Fashion Week. “I feel like my game is versatile, I feel like my style is versatile,” he told Replica Hermes Bag Reviews.com backstage during this year’s inaugural New York Fashion Week: Men’s.
Romantic Status: After dating for a number of years, Wade proposed to actress Gabrielle Union in late 2013. The Being Mary Jane star said that Wade’s two children from a previous marriage, as well as his nephew whom he is raising, held up a sign that read, “Will you marry us?” Wade and Union tied the knot in Miami last summer.

Romantic Status: There isn’t a ton of information (in English) on Gasol’s love life; however, pictures indicate that he married Cristina Blesa in 2013.

Romantic Status: In an NBA twist, Westbrook married his college sweetheart, Nina Earl. The pair met while students at UCLA, and wed at the Beverly Hills Hotel just this summer. A number of their high-profile friends, including Kevin Durant, Kevin Love, James Harden, and Khloé Kardashian, attended the ceremony.

Romantic Status: The same year that Splitter entered into the NBA, he also married Amaia Amescua in Vitoria, Spain. They welcomed a baby boy, Benjamin, in 2012. “It’s been a great experience,” Splitter said about fatherhood, “maybe the best thing that’s happened in my life.”
