Halloween is almost upon us, which means it’s time for one of the season’s most hallowed traditions: No, not costume selection or trick-or-treating, but the inevitable celebrity visit to the pumpkin patch.
What many don’t understand is that there’s an art to the process of a good Hollywood pumpkin-picking excursion. Some celebs like to actually pose with pumpkins, but a sure sign of PSL (Pumpkin Status: Legend) is to simply be caught by the paparazzi bringing your partner and brood of rosy-cheeked children to pick their very own pumpkins al fresco.
Many pumpkin-picking photo ops seem to be located in or around L.A.’s West Hollywood neighborhood. This isn’t to say that people don’t pumpkin-pick on the East Coast, but one of the many advantages of L.A. is that you can engage in seasonal activities while clad in nothing more than a tank top.
