The Goyard Anjou Bag is named after Charles I, who is a younger brother to the French King Louis IX. Charles I was the Duke of Anjou and Goyard named the bag after the city he was managing. The Goyard Anjou Bag resembles the Saint Louis Bag, but it’s a leather version and then lined with Goyardine Canvas. It’s also a reversible tote bag, which means it can change into 2 different styles – just pull the inward part of the bag out and it will change the look instantly. The other 2 details are the thick handles and the volume. The handles are made to carry the bag with ease and the interior is large enough to carry all your essentials and more. I think it’s a good bag for work, shopping and as an everyday companion.

The price of the Goyard Anjou Bag is $2,590 – $4,000 USD. There are 3 sizes – Goyard Anjou Mini, PM and GM sizes. The Anjou Mini is also called TPM size. The bag is made from Chevroches Calfskin and Goyardine Canvas, almost the same as the Saint Louis Bag, but then reversed. It does not come with a shoulder strap, so you can only carry it by hand. I was really surprised that the Mini size also lacks the shoulder strap. It would be nice to have the option to carry it crossbody. The most famous color of this bag is blue. - It’s a reversible bag, which means you can change the style
- It’s the only Goyard bag with water-resistance on both side
- The inside is made from leather instead of Canvas
- So far, I haven’t experienced stain issue
Cons:
- GM size is too wide and large
- The Saint Louis Bag is a more popular
- The price is also more expensive
- There is no zipper compartment
- The interior doesn’t have any pockets for organizing
