The pieces currently inspiring my spring wardrobe ...
Spring always shifts the way I think about my wardrobe. Everything feels lighter, softer, and a little more optimistic. I find myself drawn to pieces that feel effortless but still intentional – clothes that move easily between the city and slower days somewhere by the sea.
This season, my wish list feels very balanced. There’s a lot of tailoring, which is something I naturally gravitate towards, but it’s softened with fluid fabrics, warm neutrals, and a few playful statements.
I’ve been especially drawn to beautiful silk pieces lately. A flowing silk dress or a perfectly cut pair of trousers always feels incredibly elegant, yet relaxed enough for everyday wear. The Row does this beautifully – their pieces have that quiet confidence I’m always looking for. Understated, but unmistakably refined.
Tailoring is another theme that keeps appearing on my list. A sharp blazer paired with relaxed trousers is one of those combinations that never fails. It’s polished without feeling rigid, which is exactly how I like to approach dressing in spring.
Of course, no spring wardrobe feels complete without a few lighter statement pieces. I’ve been eyeing a vibrant Pucci silk dress that instantly lifts the mood – the kind of piece that doesn’t need much styling at all. Just sandals, sunglasses, and sunshine.
Accessories are where I tend to have the most fun. Sculptural gold jewellery, oversized sunglasses, and small details that quietly transform an outfit. A beautiful bracelet or a strong pair of frames can completely shift the energy of even the simplest look.
Shoes, unsurprisingly, take up a good portion of my wish list as well. Elegant wedges, sleek mules, and a pair of statement heels that instantly elevate everything from denim to evening dresses. I like shoes that feel distinctive but still wearable – pieces you reach for again and again.
And then there are those versatile wardrobe additions that make spring dressing easy: a soft leather jacket, a silk slip dress, a tailored waistcoat. Pieces that layer beautifully and adapt to those unpredictable in-between temperatures.
Overall, this spring wishlist feels very much like the season itself – lighter textures, clean tailoring, and a few bold moments that keep things interesting.
Some pieces are timeless investments, others are simply little seasonal obsessions. Either way, they all share the same quality I always look for: they make getting dressed feel exciting again.
