I was actually blown away.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nThis was my first attempt at buying replica shoes and being a sneakerhead, I had firmly believed that those shoes could never match up in terms of the way they feel. It feels like buttery smooth. In fact, it’s even a bit softer than the authentic pair.<\/span><\/p>\nStitching:\u00a0<\/strong>I must give a shout-out to the impeccable stitching. I can’t spot any loose threads or any visible glue.<\/span><\/p>\nWeight:\u00a0<\/strong>I don’t have a scale to measure them, but in comparison to the authentic, they feel equally weighted.<\/span><\/p>\nHardware:<\/strong>\u00a0The pearls and spikes have an expensive look and feel.<\/span><\/p>\nSole:\u00a0<\/strong>The pattern on the sole is also consistent with the authentic one. The craftsmanship is well done and doesn’t look cheap. (I originally thought the manufacturer might cut corners here, after all, no one looks at the bottom of someone else’s shoes.)<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/span>Accuracy – 9.25\/10<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/h3>\nMy primary concern is the quality of the shoes rather than obsessing over minute details being identical.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nBut I’m being super nitpicky here for the sake of this in-depth review.<\/span><\/p>\nOverall shape:<\/strong>\u00a0Looks fantastic! They appear identical to me. In real life, there’s nothing about the shape that would give away that they’re fake shoes.<\/span><\/p>\nShoelaces:\u00a0<\/strong>The one thing that I noticed right away in the PSPs (pre-shipment photos) and when I unboxed them was the laces \u2013 they’re a bit too thick.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nIf I didn’t already have these sneakers or if someone else were wearing them, I probably wouldn’t notice. <\/p>\n Spikes & Studs:<\/strong>\u00a0The angle and placement of the spikes on the back are spot on. The shapes are almost the same, but the spikes are a bit pointier and narrower, and the studs are slightly thicker at the top compared to the authentic Ace sneakers.<\/span><\/p>\nIMO, none of these differences are noticeable enough to be identified without holding the shoes and closely studying them for a few minutes.<\/span><\/p>\nIn the name of “rep science”, I’ll deduct 0.25 points for these tiny discrepancies.<\/span><\/p>\nMetallic Fabrics:\u00a0<\/strong>The color on these shiny metallic fabrics is very good, but the stamping that looks like mermaid scales (sorry, that’s the best way I can describe it, LOL) appears somewhat shallower on these fake Gucci shoes.<\/span><\/p>\nHowever, it’s how I imagine they might look after a couple of months of wear, so it’s not a huge issue. -0.25<\/span><\/p>\nPearls:\u00a0<\/strong>The pearls on the replica shoes are slightly larger and less shiny than the authentic ones. But once the shoes are worn, I don’t think anyone would really notice. But the interior was so soft and supple. Definitely worth it! If I didn’t have my authentic pair right next to them, I’d have a hard time guessing they’re not authentic.<\/span><\/p>\nHow can anyone hate such a pair of high-quality and budget-friendly shoes? I adore these shoes just as much as my real ones!<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/span>Conclusion – Can people tell I’m wearing\u00a0fake Gucci shoes?<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/h2>\nI guess I’ve started down this path of buying replica designer shoes and there’s no turning back for me. I’m actually kinda kicking myself for not doing this sooner.<\/span><\/p>\nShoes are usually about five feet away from our direct sight, and very often in motion, so it’s tough to QC (quality check) in real-life situations.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nYou might put your purse on a table, or someone might grab it to take a closer look (yeah, that happened to me), but that’s not likely with shoes, especially when you’re wearing them.<\/span><\/p>\nNobody’s going to closely inspect the brand inside your shoe, and they can’t really get a good look at the sole either. Plus, shoes, whether they’re authentic or replicas, can get worn out pretty quickly.<\/span><\/p>\nI’m not saying you shouldn’t buy authentic designer shoes \u2013 absolutely go for it if that’s your thing! But, don’t dismiss the idea of fake designer shoes too quickly. You can actually find some amazing gems out there.<\/span><\/p>\nAnd whether you’re shopping for the real deal or replicas, just be realistic with your expectations. Shopping for shoes can be tough, whether you’re in a store or browsing online. There’s always a bit of a risk involved!<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/span>BONUS:\u00a0Sizing Tips for Buying Replics Shoes<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/h2>\nSellers usually provide size charts for every brand or model you are buying. Unfortunately,\u00a0you cannot rely on our typical US sizing or European sizing.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\nYou’ll want to pick the size that lines up with your measurement on the seller’s size chart, so measure your feet in CENTIMETER before you place an order.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n- Make sure you measure your feet\u00a0while standing up.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
- Measure both feet<\/strong>\u00a0(because sometimes one foot can be a bit bigger than the other).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Here’s how I do it:<\/span><\/p>\nI just lay a blank piece of paper on the floor, stand on it with my heel against the wall and the edge of the paper, and then lean down to mark where my longest toe ends. Then, grab a ruler and measure the length.<\/span><\/p>\nThen tell the seller and see what they recommend.
